Unbelievable way to catch tigers is on the drift.The mayhem that develops when a school comes through and all the lines on the boat are running is absolute carnage. The wet season is not rain all day and basically it is a down pour for around an hour a day and then it is calm again. |

The river is big and bustling over this period. The water is very high and the opportunity to fish the rapids is available. The flyfishing is on occasion rewarding as the frenzies are occuring in isolated places. |

The best fly fishing we experience all year. The top water frenzies are adrenalin pumping to cast into. The waterbird activity is prolific. Everything is starting to feed after the 4months of flooding that has been present. Fish are all over the place.The Nguni puts you on the money, everytime. |

The biggest tigers are landed in this period. It is mainly trolling that brings these results however all other styles can be used effectively.The largest variety of fish are caught during this period and the river is beautiful with its white sandbanks. It is a defineable river with fishable features. |
